So I just saw Django this past weekend and it was awesome…brutal yet awesome. I would highly recommend you check it out if you have the means! Inspired, I had to draw my favorite shot of Django from the whole movie. I totally lost it when he turned and looked at the camera with a big troll faced smile, classic! Go see the movie already.

I was very sad to hear of Adam’s passing. Growing up, the Beastie Boys were always one of my favorite musical talents. One of the best birthday presents I ever received was courtesy of my sister Lauren. She bought us tickets for their SDSU concert back in September, 2004. The show was actually plagued with technical issues, but they eventually got the whole place jumping and it was a night to remember! This artwork is my tribute to MCA.
